Technical Explanation Of Cylender
Liners / Sleeve
In the Internal Combustion motors the
cylender lineres are best machine elements that are placed in the
cylender liners block and in which the piston moves and
the fuel is combusted. the engine liners may be examine cylender
liners in two classes:
Wet Cylender Liners/Sleeve :
These are liners that cool the cylender block that they are placed
in with external water. These are classified in 3again groups:
Flanged And Channeled : These are liners that are placed
on the cylender block from the top with a flange and that do not
have seal channels to prevent the leakage of motor cooling in the
lower section.(Figure 1)
Flanged And Without Channeled : These are the liners that are
placed on the cylender block from the top with a flange and that
do not have a seal channel to prevent leakage.(Figure 2)
Double Flange : These are the cylender liners that are placed
on the cylender block from the top and bottom with a flange and
seal in a way to prevent water leakage.(figure 3)
Dry Cylender Liners :
These are the liners that do not come into direct contact in the
cooling water in the cylender block that they are placed. They can
be classfied under two main groups in terms of shape
